Vietnam will have its own version of the US hit reality show, America's Next Top Model, on national television this fall, the producers announced.
The show, titled Vietnam's Next Top Model, will be produced by VTV3 Channel and MultiMedia JSC, and will be based on the same format as that of the US show.
It will feature a group of young women competing for the title "Next Top Model" and a chance to start a career in modeling.
It is scheduled to premiere on VTV3 this September and aims to bring local audiences something new and to help boost Vietnam's fashion industry, the producers said. Applications are now available on the show's website www.vietnamnexttopmodel.com.
America's Next Top Model is one of the most popular shows on the CW Television Network in the US. It has been broadcast in more than 140 countries around the world.
Fourteen seasons have been aired so far and the network has signed for two more seasons of the show.
