Discover the secrets of Thai cuisine with a buffet and cooking class at Sofitel Saigon Plaza this month

When people think of Thai food, they think of hot, spicy dishes.

Strong aromatic components combine with each other to produce five typical pungent tastes in Thai dishes: spicy, sour, sweet, salty and bitter.

Uniquely Thai combinations of these flavors have made Thai cuisine a hit in many countries throughout the world.

In Vietnam, Thai cuisine is known for being spicy. Most Vietnamese like Thai food because they love the numb feeling at the tip of their tongue when enjoying a spicy dish.
