If you are a fan of Thai food, you'll love the Thai dishes at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza this May because a special visitor, Thai chef Manaschai Ratsaiyakan, will show off all his talent with an authentically Thai buffet.
Ratsaiyakan said it was his goal to bring delicious Thai food to every country he visits.
The cook will prepare the sumptuous buffet from May 6-13. The buffet party, which takes place at Café Rivoli Restaurant, will start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m.
At the second floor of the Sofitel Saigon Plaza, customers will have a chance to enjoy all the famous dishes of Thailand, such as Pad Thai Goong (stir-fried rice noodles with shrimp), Som Tam (papaya salad) and Tom Yum Goong (hot and sour soup with shrimp).
The buffet costs VND710,000++ per adult and VND355,000++ per child (from six to 12 years old). The buffet also includes Singha beer, wine and soft drinks.
In addition, chef Ratsaiyakan will hold a Thai cooking class on May 8.
The class, from 10 a. m.-12 a. m., will reveal many secrets of Thai cuisine.
Students will learn the origins of Thai spices and dishes and learn how to combine different spices with each other to produce delicious dishes.
The class costs VND500,000++ per person, and the attendees will learn to cook three Thai dishes. Then, they'll enjoy them!
The class will be very relaxed and comfortable with space limited to only eight attendees.
