A performance of hairstyling at Davines Hair Show last year in Vietnam
The 8th Davines Hair Show in Ho Chi Minh City on November 7 is promisingly not only a party of new hair styles, but also other genres of art, says the organizers International Hair Care Brand Davines and Dep Magazine.
The hair fashion show, themed Happiness and to be taken place at Nguyen Du Sports Complex, will features latest trends of hair; fashion; and make-ups with the presentation of three local hair designers Hoang Minh Tam, Vuong Trong Khoi, and Don Hau.
While Tam's collection "Street Gentleman" highlights rebelious, yet traditional beauty, and Don Hau prefers classic, exquisite hairstyles, featuring models in black and white suits of collection "Vanity Fair"; Khoi purposely attracts people with his highly applicable hairstyles, currently worn by several local models, actors and his other clients in the city. Khoi's works are called Happiness, inspired by esthetic viewpoint and spirit of 1950s -1960s.
According to the event's Director Viet Tu, happiness inspires and motivates people to move forward and word hard to maximize their creative power.
Since the first show eight years ago, the organizer always pioneer in combining different genres of arts, including electronic music, contemporary dance, video art, classic music together to promote latest hairstyles and fashion.
This year's event will also see a performance of Vietnam's top saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan, Saigon Big Band, DJ Wang DMC & Bnuts. The artists will present pieces of jazz, soul, funk and instrumental.
