The Iranian embassy in Hanoi will open an exhibition of 200 traditional Persian rugs this Friday.
The exhibition will remain on display until Sunday at the Melia Hanoi Hotel, 44B Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District. Entrance is free.
The collection was brought to Vietnam by the Safa Carpet Gallery.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the 2,500-year-old Iranian art form by reviewing the work of Bagher Seirafian and Amir Erami who were named the nation's two best weavers during the National Carpet Festival held in Tehran this August.
The first Persian Carpet Exhibition was held in Hanoi in 2009.
