Monsoon Music Festival, one of the biggest international musical events in Vietnam, will return for the third year this October with the legendary hard rock band Scorpions.
Organizers of the festival said in a press briefing that the German band, possibly one of the most successful acts from Europe, will be a special guest at the festival. The band is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Scorpions was first formed in 1965 and has gone through different line-ups with special commercial success between 1978 and 1992.
The five-member band, which has sold more than 100 million records, will join the stage with artists from Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, the UK, the US and Vietnam.
The music fest will be held between October 21 and 23 at Thang Long Royal Citadel in Hanoi.
