From September 20, singer Rie Furuse will take to the stage in Park Lounge at Park Hyatt Saigon.
Furuse grew up in Japan. At the age of three, she took up the piano and at twelve added the flute to her musical repertoire. Though she later studied piano improvisation, it was her keen interest in vocalists such as Patti Austin and Lorez Alexandria that dictated her future vocation as a distinguished vocalist, pianist and composer.
Furuse is currently composing songs with the famed lyricist Chris Mosdell, who is known to have collaborated with Sarah Brightman and Eric Clapton, for her upcoming album.
