Project Runway Vietnam back with French flair
The top three contenders of Project Runway Vietnam’s second season will undergo training at Paris’s Atelier Chardon Savard institute before competing in the local adaptation's finale.
The training at the leading fashion institute will come in addition to the VND200 million (US$10,000) cash prize offered to the winner by Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
Following the success of the first season, the second show is set to hit local TV screens from May 11. Auditions will begin in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in mid-March.
Hoang Minh Ha, winner of the first season, said that the contest changed his life and saved him from depression. His latest collection called “Black Rose” was presented at the Tiffany Fashion Week in Paris.
The show will be broadcast on Sundays on Vietnam Television’s VTV3 channel.
