Local beauties, singers and gifted students from the John Robert Powers (JRP) School put on a variety show at the Saigon Opera House on July 21.

The annual show titled "Vong quanh the gioi Around the world," celebrated the fifth anniversary of the school's Vietnam campus. The show featured sketches about different countries' culture through various art forms, including singing, dancing, dramatic acting and fashion designs.

The show offered the school's best students a chance to share what they've absorbed during their lessons and to share the stage with local celebrities.

The anniversary performance featured acts by current and former students, including pop icon Dam Vinh Hung, up-and-coming singer Duong Trieu Vu, the all-female group Power Girl, boy-band 365, second runner-up of Miss Vietnam Universe 2008 Duong Truong Thien Ly and first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2010 Hoang My.

My danced on the stage with Thien Ly, who represented Vietnam at Miss World 2010, held in South Africa.

John Robert Powers Vietnam was founded in early 2006 and is run by John Robert Power International.
