The Open Stage programs will resume this weekend after a month-long hiatus.
The new workshop and performance will focus on contemporary and experimental dance.
Khanh Hoang, director of the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater, and noted choreographer Tan Loc, will help participants understand how dance reflects the connection between inner thoughts and the outside world.
The two-day open workshop will be held on April 22 and 23. Spots are still available for VND100,000 per person. Students with valid ID are entitled to a 30 percent discount.
Free tickets to the performance, which will be held on April 24, are now available.
The Open Stage project was founded in January and features discussions and performances about different kinds of contemporary art including dance, experimental music, experimental drama and art installations.
For tickets, contact Ha Phuong at 0903 966 798. Everything takes place at the Le Thanh Stage located at 25 Phan Phu Tien Street, District 5, HCMC.
