Mister Vietnam crowned

Le Khoi Nguyen, 21, defeated 29 finalists from across the country to win the first-ever Mister Vietnam pageant January 1.

Nguyen, who was the third runner-up of Supermodel Contest 2010, will represent Vietnam at the Mister International Contest 2011 to be held in the Philippines later this year.

The 21-year-old won a cash prize of VND100 million.

Do Ba Dat, 24, was crowned first runner-up in the national modeling contest. Dat also won the title of Mister Knowledge in the same competition. Last year, he won the Most Talented Contestant of Supermodel Contest.

Hanoian Ha Trong Tai is the second runner-up of Mister Vietnam.

30 finalists vied for the crown in traditional, sport and evening costume rounds in the finale held at the amphitheater in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province's Vung Tau Town.
