Famous Vietnamese fashion designer Minh Hanh is set to wow London with her latest collection of 100 ao dai ( traditional Vietnamese dress) at a fashion show on December 9.

The show will take place at the Gatwick Airport (the second largest airport of London and one of 10 major airports in the world) during the opening ceremony held to celebrate the first direct flight of Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city to London.

Minh Hanh is one of the most influential fashion designers in Vietnam with shows to her credit in France and Italy.

The latest collection is inspired by the patterns in attires sported by British royalty and presented with a combination of Vietnamese features and motifs.

With this collection, Minh Hanh also promotes traditional Vietnamese materials like silk, brocade and jute, as well as techniques like hand embroidery.
