The National Museum of Vietnamese History in Hanoi will showcase more than 100 antiques with lotus flower design in the first exhibition of its kind this Thursday.
The antiques are made from different materials, including wood, bronze, silver, gold, glazed terra-cotta and gemstone.
In Buddhism, lotus flower represents purity, enlightenment and faith.
The exhibition will be opened 9:30 a.m. on May 14 at 1 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
