Following the first show called "Be strong, Japan" held in Hanoi on March 31, a second event of the same name will take place Thursday night in Ho Chi Minh City to support the Japanese victims.
In the wake of Japan's catastrophic earthquake and tsunami, many Vietnamese celebrities wasted no time in advocating for the victims generating financial support. The Hanoi show raised over VND680 million to help the Japanese.
HCMC's show will feature music and fashion performances by top local singers, models and beauty queens.
Three ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dresses) of designers Duc Hung and Minh Chau will be auctioned off for charity.
The show held in Ocean Club located at 5-7 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ward 12, District 4. All the profits from the show will be donated to the Japanese Embassy.
