Local dancers to retell "Story of the shoes'

A local troupe of dancers and choreographers known as Arabesque will once again perform their hit show Chuyen ke nhung chiec giay (Story of the shoes) on August 2 and 3 at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House.

The show first premiered in 2009 and made a strong impression on the audiences.

The nearly two-hour show features 12 performances of ballet, jazz and contemporary dance and centered around the real lives of the dancers.

This year's show will include new and modified plot points which focus on the lives and work of up-and-coming dancers like Khanh Chinh, Thuy Chi and Bao Trung.
