The La Residence Hotel and Spa in Hue city is hosting 'Breathtaking Vietnam', a charity exhibition featuring 13 acrylic paintings by French painter Denis Boywd, until the end of May.
All proceeds from the exhibition will go to Hue Help, a non-profit organization that operates a children's shelter and numerous educational programmes for disadvantaged children in the central province of Thua Thien Hue province.
Boywd donated the collection, which is inspired by his extensive visits to Vietnam, as a means of supporting communities he became part of during his travels.
"Boywd's endearing works are a testament to the beauty of this region and its lasting effect on visitors," said Anthony Gill, the hotel's general manager.
"Besides being a one-of-a-kind memento that guests can take home, each sale will go a long way toward improving the health, education and future prospects of these children," he said.
Le Residence so named because its main building in the former residence of the French governor in Hue.
