Jay Sean's sole liveshow in Vietnam will take place in Ho Chi Minh City November 21
World-renowned rapper Jay Sean arrives in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday, November 21 for his debut performance in the country.
The night music show, organized by DJ Radio, a mobile application for Android and IOS, will take place 9 p.m. at Fuse Bar Saigon, 138 Le Lai Street, District 1.
The British singer-songwriter, rapper, beatboxer and record producer, who was born as Kamaljeet Singh Jhooti in London to a Punjabi Sikh immigrant family, will perform his world hits, including "Maybe," which was Sean's most successful single in Japan, where it reached No. 7 on the Japan Hot 100 Singles in 2007, "Down," which topped the American Billboard Hot 100 in 2008; and "I'm All Yours" which peaked at 13 in Australia and was certified as Gold last year.
The singer, who emerged from UK's Asian Underground scene in 2003, has so far released five albums and won numerous awards, including Best Male, Best Urban Act and Best Album, the latter for his second album, "My Own Way", at the UK Asian Music Awards in 2009; and Best Collaboration Award for Down alongside Lil Wayne at the UK Urban Music Awards the same year.
