Japanese delicacies with authentic flavors will be presented at the Mangosteen Restaurant inside Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi from September 12 to 16.
Patrick Manthe, general manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi, said that the hotel is delighted to introduce yet another culinary highlight to the city after the very successful Thai, Swiss and Chinese food festivals in the past months.
"With strong focus placed upon freshness and natural flavors, Japanese cuisine is nutritionally well-balanced and healthy. It is known for its seasonality and high quality of the food products and ingredients used," he said.
This is the first time the hotel will celebrate a five-day festival of irresistible and authentic Japanese cuisine.
Master chef Kittisukd Sujaritvetee has worked in Japanese restaurants all over Bangkok. The chef comes to Hanoi to prepare Japanese dishes using only the freshest ingredients with an extensive selection of traditional and creative Japanese delicacies.
The buffet will include over 20 kinds of sushi, assorted sashimi such as salmon, tuna, shime saba, tako sashimi (octopus), ika sashimi (squid), and kani shashimi (crab stick). Accompanying the fish dishes are various kinds of miso soups, salads, tempuras, kanikamas and many other Japanese classics.
The chef will come up with many more delicacies from September 12 to 16 to add variety to the buffet.
The buffet is priced at VND690,000++ and includes free flow wine, draught beer and soft drinks.
