World famous ten-string guitarist Pierre Laniau will treat Hanoi to two solo performances later this month.
Laniau will perform pieces by French composer Erik Satie on September 20 at the French Cultural Center L'Espace. He will play Mozart and pieces of contemporary composers on September 23 at the same venue.
Known as the one who revived guitar baroque the musical instrument of 1652, the French artist has successfully performed masterpieces of Mozart, Bach, Satie, Debussy, Copland and Gershwin without having them recomposed.
The graduate of the Paris Music Institute has performed in 80 countries around the world.
