The concerts are set to introduce many development periods of the popular string instrument, from the old times of Renaissance, Baroque, Classicque to new periods of Romantique, Modern and Contemporary.
A gala night themed “Six centuries of guitar” will open the festival on November 12 with the performance of two American noted artists Harris Becker and Paul Cesarczyk.
Two Vietnamese guitarists Thanh Huy and Ba Tho will participate in the festival with a dual performance.
The festival will also include master classes for student guitarists, presentations, and a workshop where participants can play the instruments brought from all over the world by the noted guitarists.
