Craft villages in Vietnam and well-known silk producers in Asia will join an international silk festival in Hoi An this March.
The event, on March 28-29 at the town's silk village, will feature products of artisans from China, India, Japan, Laos, Thailand, and seven villages across Vietnam. 
Visitors can expect to learn more about the rich history of the craft and the differences in silk products from regional countries. 
Several workshops, exhibitions and fashion shows will be organized as well as a food festival, which will introduce specialties of the central ancient town.
