The exhibition, organized by Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, is themed the "Beauty of Vietnamese Flowers".
Native flowers from all over the nation will be displayed at the flower show including bauhinia, orchid, lotus and apricot. They will be exhibited through beautiful floral arrangements, artist's portraits and noted photographers' pictures.
Many famous sights like Hanoi's One-pillar Pagoda, Saigon's Ben Thanh Market and Hue's Trang Tien Bridge will also be reconstructed in the flower showcase.
The lotus, the apricot and the peach-blossom are among the flowers with the most votes. Ballots may be cast at the event and online at www.cinet.vn and www.quochoavietnam.com.vn. Fifty thousand ballots are expected to cast throughout the exhibits.
The national emblem's referenda also took place in Hanoi and Da Nang. Ho Chi Minh City is the final location for the exhibit and the result counted from the three regions will proclaim "Vietnam's National Flower."
Currently, the pink lotus leads as the most brilliant candidate for the crown.
