The Ho Chi Minh City Artifact Association was founded last week to research and preserve relics.

Hundreds of artifacts from the Dong Son and Champa civilizations, made of rock, bronze, elephant's tusk and pottery, were displayed at the Southern Women Museum on Vo Thi Sau Street, District 3 on the occasion of the organization’s establishment.

Nguyen Van Quynh, chairman of the 55-member association, said his agency would hold exhibitions in celebration of the 1,000th anniversary of Hanoi’s founding this year.
