HCMC art exhibition features work of Vietnamese, Filipino students

Following the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi, its Ho Chi Minh City counterpart is organizing a Vietnamese-Filipino art exhibition to celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

 

The exhibition, themed Peace, Friendship and Development, opened on Aug 12, featuring 185 art works by over 20 Vietnamese and Filipino fine arts students.

 

The art works, of which a 3mx5m painting is jointly created by students of both countries, use diverse materials, including water color, oil, silk, and lacquer.

 

The HCMC Fine Arts Museum is located at 97A Pho Duc Chinh Street, District 1.
