Hanoi's museums to offer new programs

This Month, two of Hanoi's most popular museums are rolling out a pair of new programs.

In celebration of International Museum Day, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will give a presentation on the preservation of paper relics. 

During the special May 18 event, the museum will offer free tours and special presentations at 9 a.m., 10 am, 2 pm, and 3 pm. 

The museum's director will speak on the preservation of Vietnam's cultural past. The institution, which is located on Nguyen Van Huyen Street, will give away gifts to the first 100 visitors. 

On May 21, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum will invite children to explore a new creative space to inaugerate the museum's new fine arts education program.

All children will be admitted for free.

The museum's creative space occupies 70 square meters on the third floor and  is ideal for children from 5-15 years old.

The space allows them to freely explore and practice all kinds of art with the help from painters, sculptors, and experts from the museum's education department.

The museum is located at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
