A new approach to contemporary dance will be presented in a dance performance entitled Moon Garden, to take place at French Cultural Center in Hanoi on Sept 8.
Moon Garden tells a story of sculptures in the fairy tales, who are dancing when night falls.
They share their happiness, love, loneliness and sorrow. Under the moonlight, their bodies entangle and dissolve in the starry night, just as the stars appear and disappear under the clouds in the whisper of the wind.
The dance is directed and choreographed by dancer Quach Phuong Hoang, who has worked in France and collaborated with many dancing troops, including L'esquisse, Coline, and Montalvo-Hervieu.
In Moon Garden, the former dancer of Vietnam National Opera Ballet will partner up with LDG group and Modern Lime Dance Groups.
Tickets, priced at VND50,000, are available at French Cultural Center, 24 Trang Tien.
