Several international and local music stars will perform at the MTV Exit (End Exploitation and Trafficking) Vietnam Concert 2012 to be held in Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium on May 26.
The foreign artists are: Brown Eyed Girls from Korea; punk pop band Simple Plan whose members are Canadian and French; Jet Lag, the composer of hits Addicted, Shut Up! and Save You; and Australian singer Kate Miller Heidke.
The Brown Eyed Girls - JeA, Miryo, Narsha and Gain first performed in Vietnam at the 2009 MTV Exit Vietnam concert held in Ho Chi Minh City.
Simple Plan has performed at MTV Asia Aid Benefit, for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as concerts as part of activities of Simple Plan Foundation.
Singer My Tam, rock band The Wall, and rapper Karik are the Vietnamese bands that will play at the concert.
Singer My Tam will also introduce a 30-minute documentary film called "Enslaved: An MTV Exit Special," at the show.
MTV Exit was established to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking in Europe and Asia. The first MTV Exit concert was held in Vietnam in 2009.
