Hanoi opens culture exhibition

Hundreds of books, articles, quotes, and photographs which help visitors to have a glimpse of daily life, customs, costumes as well as cuisine of the people of Hanoi are on display at the capital city's Hanoi Library.

 

The exhibition "Culture of Hanoi's People," which opened on February 5, will last until February 25, the Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reported Thursday.

 

In featuring the culture of Hanoi's people, it introduces to visitors to Hanoi of the old days, traditional culture values of Hanoian and how that culture has been developed and preserved during the city's development.

 

Le Thi Tan Trang, deputy director of the Hanoi's Department of Culture, Sports and Toursim, said the exhibition is a special gift for the Tet (Lunar New Year) Holiday of Hanoi to everybody.
