A painting exhibition featuring work from three Thai artists opened Tuesday, in Hanoi, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The show, entitled "Hanoi in Spring," features works in charcoal, crayon, oil and water color by Direk Kingnok, Dinhin Rakpong-Asoke, Suwit Jaipom and a Vietnamese guest artist, Phuong Vu Manh.
The pictures portray Hanoi from a variety of different perspectives: lifestyle, landscapes in the Red River.
Following the opening ceremony, Suwuit offered to draw portraits of visitors using crayon and charcoal.
The event, held at Viet Art Center, 42, Yet Kieu, will run until May 9.
