Vietnam's first Anthropology Film Week will be held November 14 17 at the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies in Hanoi.
The institute, which holds PhD courses in culture, will screen 15 short anthropological films made by its trainees and employees.
They include Sunday in Braza Ville; A day in the life of a scrap dealer; Promise and Insecurity; Image and Shadow; Who in you; the Nature of Evil; Searching; Oh! Duck; Dream; the Old Quarter; Step by Step; Ghost of the City; Warmth in Rain; and Jigsaw Puzzles of Baisha Village.
Seminars and workshops on contemporary arts and culture will also be held as part of the film festival, which will take place at 32 Hao Nam Street, Hanoi.
