Hanoi hosts exhibition of Polish porcelain

An exhibition of Polish porcelain will be held July 4-9 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Hanoi.

 

The event will feature a collection of 46 porcelain paintings of European monkeys inspired by monkeys' special intelligence.

 

It will also include 28 porcelain sculptures featuring characteristics of the second half of the last century.

 

The collection to be displayed belongs to AS Cmielow Porcelain Company, established in 1804. It is located in the southeastern part of of Poland.

 

The exhibition is sponsored by the Polish Airlines LOT. It is held to commemorate Poland's taking over of the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union for the 2nd half of 2011.

 

The museum, located at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, opens everyday from 8.30 am 5 pm. Admission to the event is free.
