Flutist Clément Dufour and pianist Tristan Pfaff of France will perform in Hanoi on Sept 18 and Ho Chi Minh City two days later.
The duo, found by l'ADAMI and known for the name "The Classical Discovery" have performed in many famous theaters in the world, according to promotional material from the organizer IDECAF.
For the two concerts of chamber music, Clément Dufour, 25, and pianist Tristan Pfaff, 27, will present masterpieces for the flute and piano. They are Syrinx (solo flute), In the boat, The Little Shepherd, Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Arabesque (solo piano), Bizet / Borne, and Fantasie Brillante from Carmen.
Clément Dufour won 1st Prize Winner at the well-known International Flute Competition Jean-Pierre Rampal at Paris in 2005. Tristan Pfaff is the 2nd Prize Winner of the International Piano Ferrol in 2008.
The Ho Chi Minh City concert will take place at the city's Conservatory of Music, whereas the Hanoi concert will be put on by L'Espace.
Tickets, priced from VND100,000 to 200.000 (discount 50% for students) are available at the Conservatory of Music (from 8 am 8 pm), 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1, HCMC and L'Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.
