Hanoi exhibition highlights artists' views on Vietnam

The Hanoi Link exhibition "Five Years" opened February 21 at the Exhibition House in Hanoi to mark the 6th anniversary of the founding of the group dedicated to various forms of contemporary art.

The show, consisting of three videos and two art installations made by four Vietnamese artists and one from France, reflects their views on Vietnamese society,as well as their experiences and lessons learned, according to a press release from the Hanoi Link on Monday.

Among featured artworks are Nguyen Thanh Hoa's "Only A Thread" an embroidery installation, Virginie Faivre D'arcier's installation "The Cocoons" and video productions "Haven't Thought About", "The Party", and "Bu" by Nguyen Hoa Van, Nguyen Ban Ga and Nguyen Tran Nam respectively.

"Five Years" will run through February 25 at 29 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi.
