German band Camerata Orientis will play works by Georg Friedrich HÃ¤ndel at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory on April 23.
The quintet plays orchestra music with Baroc and classical music in the 17th and 18th century styles.
A member of the International Teachers' Association and the Art Plus Foundation that is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Camerata Orientis has been promoting classical music in Southeast Asia.
After the performance, the quintet will attend a workshop with teachers and students of HCMC Conservatory from April 19 to 24.
The performance is one of the activities celebrating the German Year Vietnam, commemorating 35 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
