A performance by German dancehall-raggae band Raggabund will open the annual German cultural festival in Hanoi this Saturday.
This year's festival will be more special as Vietnam and Germany are celebrating the 40 years of diplomatic relations, organizers said.
Raggabund, run by a pair of Munich siblings, will bring audience a "superior dancehall party" at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. in Van Ho Exhibition Center (2 Hoa Lư street, Hai Bà Trưng, Hanoi) to kick off the event on Saturday, the organizer said.
Other main activities of the festival includes painting workshop, food tasting, German classes and an awarding ceremony of a Selfie contest, organizers from the Embassy of Germany in Vietnam and the Geothe Institute in Vietnam announced.
