Photo exhibition Dialogue on Geoheritage is being held at Hanoi Opera House from July 18-20.
As part of the 2nd International Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network held in Hanoi from July 16-24, the exhibit includes 56 solo photos and three photo albums of winners of the photo contest held in March.
The photos feature landscapes in Vietnam including the beaches in the central coastal province of Binh Thuan, Ban Gioc Waterfall, Ma Pi Leng mountain, and the stone fence in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.
According to Vu Quoc Khanh, president of Vietnam Association of Photographers, these winning photos successfully explain the concept of geological heritage through images.
So far, Dong Van Karst Stone Plateau of Ha Giang province is the first global Geopark in Vietnam and the second in Southeast Asia.
