Future Shorts Vietnam brings down HCMC curtains

After two years of promoting and screening international short films in Vietnam, the Future Shorts group's local branch will organize a farewell event on June 17.


Future Short, the largest short film network in the world founded in 2003 to promote young filmmakers' works, will stop running its HCMC branch after the last event at Snap Café on June 17.


The Hanoi office still continue its work, together with the network's branches in other Southeast Asian cities including Manila, Jakarta, Ubud, Bali and Phnom Penh.


The team of volunteers at the HCMC office will continue to organize screenings of short films at public venues even after the closure.

Tickets cost VND 60,000. Students will get 50% discounts, and the screenings are free for filmmakers.
