Familiar corners of Ho Chi Minh City are astonishing through the lens of a local photographer, who wants to see what the city looks like from a helicopter.
Gian Thanh Son says his exhibition “A view of Vietnam from the sky," which runs until Sunday, is to raise money for a charity fund for children with heart problems.
His 40 images, taken from army helicopters, are on display and for sale at 143 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 3.
Son is also a correspondent for President Truong Tan Sang.
