Le Nouveau Trio Gitan, a gypsy group from France, will perform in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi next week, according to the French Embassy.

Founded in 1985, the trio is made up of three guitarists - Christian Escoudé, Jean-Baptiste Laya and Hugo Lippi - all with different styles.

Escoudé inherits the style of gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, while Lippi tends to mix pop and jazz with gypsy music.

Laya, who has participated in many musical projects, plays with the style of a composer, it is said.

Tickets at VND200,000, 150,000, 100,000 (US$10.25- 7.69-5.12) are on sale at the Hanoi Opera House.
