A special exhibition featuring drawings and pictures from the book "Hanoi, from One City to Another" by Bertholon & Musil will open at 6 p.m. at Eté Resto Cafe in Hanoi on January 12.

"Hanoi, from One City to Another" provides a special insight into the fast-changing capital city of Vietnam, according to a press release from the café.

Through pictures, drawings and sketches, the book offers to readers a one-of-a-kind exploration of a city in transition, through foreigners' eyes.

The French artist Vincent Bertholon depicts everyday life and development in Hanoi, including drawings of Hanoi's architecture, nha nghis and street-side scenes, plus images of the new city sprouting through the rice fields to the West of the city.

The opening night at Eté Resto Cafe, which is located on 95, Giang Van Minh, Ba Dinh District, will include a free tapas and organic rice wine from Meo Vac.
