More than 8,000 indigenous and foreign flowers, ornamental fish, bonsai plants and trees will be featured at Tao Dan Park in Ho Chi Minh City during the annual flower festival.

The bloom fest, which runs from January 28 to February 8, will showcase the products and creations of florists, handicraft villages and farms in HCMC, Hanoi and the provinces of Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Lam Dong, said Tran Thien Ha, director of the HCMC Green Tree and Park Company.

The event will also feature music and dance performances, paintings, cultural exhibits and a traditional food festival.

Folk artists, puppet and circus performers will stage street show every night from 8 p.m. onward.
