English folk musician Jim Moray is going to perform in Vietnam from August 19 to 22.
Moray is a multi-award winning musician who brought a modern twist to ancient folk songs and stylings. He has won awards from BBC Radio 2 and magazines fRoots and Mojo.
According to a press release from British Council Vietnam, Moray, a writer, performer and producer who was named "the future of British folk" by Billboard magazine right after releasing his first album 'Sweet England,' is to perform in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.
On 19 August, he will perform with both local and international artists at the Gala Concert to welcome the 8th UNESCO Congress at Bao Son Paradise at An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi. He will also play at an event for UNESCO delegates in the capital city.
On 22 August, Moray will play in Ho Chi Minh City at the Hard Rock Café together with local young up-and-comers Van Mai Huong and Quoc Thien.
