Vietnam's dance community was honored to have world-famous American dancer Ynot be a guest judge for the finale of the 2012 Centaur Dance Showdown in Ho Chi Minh City December 7.

Ynot, who was born Anthony Joseph Denaro, is a member of the legendary dance troupe the Rock Steady Crew. He has built a reputation by popularizing "toprocking," a hip-hop dance which encourages dancers to innovate their own style.

Upon visiting Vietnam for the first time, Ynot was excited be a part of the dance competition, along with choreographers Viet Max and Ha Le, as well as singer Ho Ngoc Ha.

S.I.N.E., from the northern region, beat out 112 other dance crews from across the country and will represent Vietnam as the competition shifts to its international phase.

Ynot will coach the crew to compete with its rivals from India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore at the dance competition's international finale round set to take place in Singapore on January 18, 2013.

The dancer now focuses on teaching hip-hop workshops and touring across the US and the world.
