Local fans of Lucky Luke, the cowboy who can shoot faster than his shadow, can attend a celebration of the character organized next month by First News, a Ho Chi Minh city-based publisher.
Called "Lucky Luke Plus You 2011", the one-day camp on June 4 will recreate some of Luke's adventures in the comic series through several games that the fans can participate in.
The camp will also have a concert by Filipino band "Sound on Fire" who will play songs related to Lucky Luke.
A booth collecting comics and other books for underprivileged children will be a highlight of the camp.
Comic buffs can get tickets to their first offline meeting by emailing luckylukefanclub@gmail.com.
The camp will take place from 4p.m. at Phu Tho Stadium, 229 Ly Thuong Kiet, District 11.
