The European Film Festival returns to Vietnam this month.
The week-long film event will begin on May 16 in Ho Chi Minh City. The festival will have a ten-day run in Hanoi, beginning May 20.
Thirteen films, from romantic comedies to dramatic thrillers, will be screened during the festival.
Last year, roughly 8,000 Vietnamese turned out for a diverse selection of feature films.
This year, the festival will feature an evening of short international films made by European filmmakers.
The festival has been organized by the Delegation of the European Union and the embassies of European Union member states.
Screenings will be held in HCMC from May 16 to 27 at the Dong Da Cinema, 890 Tran Hung Dao Street, District 5.
In Hanoi, the festival will be held from May 20 to 29 at the National Cinema Center, 87 Lang Ha Street, Dong Da District.
