Lymbyc Systym, consisting of the sibling duo Jared and Michael Bell, is an indie electro, laptop post-rock, and folktronica act that have been making waves around the US and the world over the past ten years.
Balancing live drumming, electronic and acoustic instruments and programming, the duo have released five albums and a string of dynamic live shows alongside the likes of Crystal Castles, Broken Social Scene and The Books.
The show in Hanoi is a part of Lymbyc Systym's Asia Summer Tour 2011, which includes performances in Tokyo, Taipei, Bankok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.
Commens, Hanoi's newest electronic rock act, consists of California transplants Ryan Chittick, Lilly Nguyen and Taylor Cavale.
The band draws upon electronic music, krautrock, post rock and blends sequenced electronics, synthesizers, and live drumming.
Chittick and Nguyen have musical roots in the San Francisco
music scene playing shows in clubs, warehouses and basements and toured the US and Europe with bands such as Warbler, Experimental Dental School and Kid 606.
