A thousand calligraphy works featuring the word "dragon" in Chinese script will be showcased at Hanoi's millennial anniversary in October.
Hanoi was called Thang Long (Ascending Dragon) a thousand years ago when the location first became the country's capital.
The works, by Hue artists Cai Van Long and Le Thien Ly, will form a big painting around 210 meters long. Each of them features the word in different images.
The works were showcased at the Hue Festival earlier this month and scored one of the eight Vietnam Guinness records at the festival.
