An exhibition of lacquer paintings done by children suffering from mental disorders is now on display in Hue until November 25.

The exhibition titled "Tri tuong tuong tren son mai" (Showing imagination through lacquer paintings), has 51 paintings on display that feature traditional and iconic Vietnamese images like the Muc dong (Buffalo boy), Trau va ruong (Buffalo and paddy field) and Me que (Mother in the countryside).

So far, the children from the Trinh Truc Gia Center for Disabled People in Hue have surprised viewers with their creativity and use of joyful colors.

Proceeds from the exhibition, which is located at 1 Le Hong Phong Street, will be donated to the Trinh Tuc Gia Center.
