Vietnam digital satellite television company, VSTV, officially opened its third K+ store in Can Tho City on July 9. Two subdivisions already exist in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Thanks to DTH (direct-to-home) technology, the service is able to reach over 17 million viewers living in 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta. Locals, if they choose to buy a package, will be offered a new television experience.

Currently, there are more than 70 licensed channels, soon to be over 100, which have nationwide coverage and high quality sound and images without requiring a transmitting station midway.

The channel, K+1, is sure to satisfy local football buffs as it will air matches from seven of the biggest international football leagues including the English Premier League (EPL), Serie A, La Liga, UEFA Champion's League, UEFA Europa League, Ligue 1 and American Major League Soccer (MLS).

Every Sunday the ELS, La Liga and Italian Serie A matches will be aired and are supposed to be exclusive to K+1.
