A visual arts exhibition featuring female artists born after 1975 will take place from March 30 to April 7 at the HCMC Fine Arts Museum, according to a museum press release issued on Monday.
The show, entitled "The Walker," will display 13 works ranging from oil paintings to pop art to installations created by Le Hien Minh, Nguyen Thuy Hang, Vu Khanh Van, Ly Tran Quynh Giang and Nguyen Kim To Lan.
All the artists were born in either Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.
The group's art is said to reflect the personal issues facing contemporary female artist such as the the rediscovery of one's imagination and the complex dynamics of conflicts between one's inner and outer worlds.
The event's opening reception will include performances from local pop singer Thao Trang, rock band Giao Chi and Dj Jeremy.
HCMC Fine Art Museum is located on 97A Pho Duc Chinh Street, District 1.
