The Trey McIntyre Project, a famous contemporary ballet troupe from the US, will tour to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh from May 13 to 20, according to a press release from the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The troupe is invited to participate in a series of events as part of the Dance Motion project, including a performance at Au Co Arts Center, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Hanoi, at 8p.m. on May 16.
That event will include a talk and performance exchange with local artists and at-risk children.
The American ballet dancers will then perform at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House in District 1 at 8 p.m. on May 18.
They will conduct Master Class with artists from the Arabesque Troupe and the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, and participate in an art exchange with Bong Sen Theater artists.
